In collaboration with Northwest Regional Development Commission, Minnesota Department of Transportation, and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, FireFrost ATV Club is seeking off-road vehicle enthusiasts to join its membership. Active members are asked to creatively develop 24 miles of abandoned Minnesota Northern railway and State Highway 75 right of way between Nielsville and Perley in Northwestern Minnesota, into a multiple-purpose recreational trail. Enthusiasts of the trail include off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, bicyclists, runners, walkers, horseback riders, and nature seekers.
Future development will include connection with established northern ATV trail systems in Canada to Fargo Moorhead areas. The trail will connect local communities, promote attractions for visitors, including off-road parks, primitive camping, disc golf, multiple boat landings and more.
The mission of the FireFrost ATV Club is to ensure the preservation of the sport of off-road riding in our area by creating and maintaining trails suitable for ATVs, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, side-by-sides and working with local groups to promote harmony between ATVs, snowmobiles, cyclists, and pedestrians. With shared interests in trails and outdoors the FireFrost ATV club plans to help develop and maintain a small trail system to connect others to local and international attractions.

Projects
Together with Halstad Municipal Utilities, FireFrost ATV Club purchased 25 miles of abandoned rail bed to convert into an off-road trail system.
